Formerly an abandoned cemetery in Crane, Grove Prešeren was remodeled in 1952 by the architect Marjan Sorli, and still contains, for example, the graves of France Prešeren and Simon Jenko), and in order to preserve the heritage of the region and the existing monuments, this park was established, and it became a place for relaxation and picnics.
