The Romanesque Porte de Bourgogne gate was designed in the 1850s by the famous architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, famous for redesigning the Place de la Concorde in Paris, the Military School and the Petit Trianon at Versailles; It is worth noting that the gate was the official entrance to the city from Paris, so if you are near, do not miss seeing it.
