Porta Verona is the main entrance to the city of Verona, and one of the most famous and most important historical monuments in it. This gate was built in the year 1369 and is composed of two main elements, the first of which is the defensive tower that was built with the city walls, and the gate itself, which was added to the front of the structure later. The gate was built in the Venetian style so it is covered with beautiful yellow stone and has some wonderful carvings.
