Port El Kantaoui is a tourist complex located 10 kilometers north of the city of Sousse in central Tunisia. It was built in 1979 as a tourist center around a large artificial port that provides a mooring with 340 berths for luxury yachts, and hosts sports activities from water skiing to paragliding and several golf courses . In terms of style, the Port El Kantaoui district is designed as a Tunisian-style white and blue village with a reproduced Medina neighborhood and cobbled streets. The cobbled streets and Moorish-Andalusian architecture give an elegant North African feel in a tourist-friendly environment.
