The Pompeii Museum is a museum dedicated to telling stories of slavery in the Bahamas. The museum was built in the city's oldest building, an 18th century building that was once the site of slave auctions. Visitors will find among the museum's exhibits photographs, torture instruments, paintings and pictures of some of the most famous slaves who freed themselves by the hands of resistance and indomitable.
