Ploskovice Palace was founded by Ann Mary Francis Tuscan between 1720 and 1725. By the nineteenth century the Habsburgs had acquired the area and the palace became the summer residence of the retired Austrian emperor and the last crowned Bohemian king Today, Ferdinand V, the palace is a popular destination among tourists and even locals as it is surrounded by vast expanses and beautiful gardens ideal for strolling and hanging out.
