The Nation Square acquired its current name on the occasion of the country's National Day in 1880 AD, and is famous for hosting one of the most active detachments during the French Revolution, located in the east of Paris. Today it is the starting point for many important Parisian events, dominated by a group of majestic bronze statues carved by the most famous local artists, surrounded by many nearby shops and a garden with wonderful flower beds.
