On the shores of Lake Constance, the UNESCO World Heritage Bale Dowling Museum is Germany's oldest open-air archaeological museum. It consists of restored Neolithic and Bronze Age buildings and dwellings at an excavation site to display a collection of artifacts that tell a lot about the local lifestyle. It contains handicrafts, antiquities, some medicines, agricultural tools, and others.
