In the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century, Peak Street was the main thoroughfare for business and commerce and home to the City Bank, shops, restaurants, and guest houses. Nowadays this street is a great place for a stroll, where you can enter art galleries, handicraft stores, church and various shops, and then have a good meal with your friends and family.
