One of the distinctive museums of A Coruña is Picasso's House Museum, a typical house and example of 19th-century urbanization, where Picasso spent the early years of his life. The house still has the original furniture and collectibles that make it home to the period that marked the beginnings of the great artist. On display are copies of the works he made during his stay in A Coruña and also copies of some of his father's works.
