Elephant Village Pattaya is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center that was opened in 1973 as a sanctuary for former working elephants that can no longer be used for reasons of injury, ill health or declining habitat, providing a safe environment and comfortable conditions for them to live their lives in dignity and freedom from fear. Not only is a visit to the Elephant Village a unique experience, but it is also a contribution to saving the lives of the elephants, as the fees paid by the visitors contribute to the continuation of the work of the center and the survival of the elephants, both now and in the future.
