The Camino del Apostal long route connects the coastal city of Cartagena and Caravaca de la Cruz, and was popularized under this name as the "Messenger's Way", with the aim of extending the concept of pilgrimage to other cultural or sporting concepts, as well as creating ways to connect between cities using traditional methods.
