Although Paseo de los Tristes is officially called “Paseo del Padre Mangón”, it is known by this name (which means “Way of Sorrows”) because funeral processions passed through it on their way to the cemetery, a wonderful place surrounded by trees and beautiful nature and provides A wonderful view of the Alhambra, as it was one of the most crowded areas in Granada until the nineteenth century, when many festivals and holidays were held.
