The Partition Museum has origins dating back to 1947 AD, the year in which India gained its independence from Great Britain and was divided into two parts, India and Pakistan (the Partition of India). It contains many photos, documents, antiques, newspaper clippings and other collectibles that chronicle this great event. And before leaving the museum, do not hesitate to write whatever you want on the green paper and hang it on the Tree of Hope.
