Built in the 1970s, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is an "open book", reconstructed in the wake of the April 7, 2009 protests, and currently consists of a group of buildings with a total area of about 10,000 square metres. Among the famous halls and rooms, such as the Plenary Hall, Europe Hall, the Press Room, a library and a museum that displays a collection of books, photos and documents related to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and contains a room to watch educational video materials on the parliament’s history and activities.
