The extensive Schönefeld park extends between the districts of Kassel, and forms an integral part of the integrity of nature, where it invites you to stay in the green spaces and offers many spacious ponds fed by small rivers. The park includes a large variety of huge trees such as chestnuts and oaks, a floating platform was built on one of the ponds, and a natural stone amphitheater was built on the slope of the bank, to include the Brothers Grimm Festival annually.
