28 Panfilovtsev Park is a 44-acre park located in the Medeo district of Almaty, and was established in the 1870s to commemorate the heroes of World War II, and contains the wooden Zinkov Cathedral, a museum of folk musical instruments, and many memorials, and is a memorial in its own right to history, architecture and art natural views.
