Covering an area of about 85 hectares, it is one of the largest parks in Bucharest. The development of the park began in 1965 and lasted about 5 years, and it was opened in 1970. It is true that a large part of the park is filled with Lake Titan, which includes the park, along with its five islands, and this makes it one of the best attractions in the park. The lake is divided into two distinct parts (Lake Titan I and Lake Titan II) by a bridge.
