It is not possible to visit Barcelona without visiting and getting acquainted with at least one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, one of the most famous designers in the world, not only in Spain, where his designs and remnants have become one of the most famous heritage monuments in the world. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, and inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, this playful urban park features a peaceful green setting, winding paths, and numerous sculptures and mosaics designed by Gaudi himself. The park consists of two sections, as there is a section that can be entered for free.
