Parana Museum of Contemporary Art was established in 1971 AD, and is located inside a historic building in the city, and it mainly aims to document local and international artworks. It has a collection of more than 1,500 artworks in various fields including paintings, drawings and sculptures, as well as photographs and video collections. The museum also hosts several temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
