Ampenan Beach is one of Matram's favorite tourist destinations. It is always crowded, especially at sunset, and is famous for its historical buildings from the Dutch colonial era, the port of Ambenan and the old town of Ambenan. The beach is filled with vendors who offer various foods and drinks to tourists while enjoying the sunset scene, and one of the reasons for the charming sunset in the area is that the sun sets behind Mount Agung in Bali, making the scene unforgettable. To enjoy the sunset even more, a 10 meter high building was built around the beach so that visitors could see the sunset clearly and take beautiful pictures.
