The Bansering Jagat Temple, located in the east of Lake Batur in Trunyan Village, is a distinctive tourist attraction in Bali. It is an ancient Hindu temple famous for its gigantic four-meter-high statue of the village guardian spirit. This statue is carefully guarded by locals and is only taken out during special religious processions. The temple also includes a shrine consisting of seven layers.
