Panayot Volov is one of the most prominent figures of the Bulgarian national liberation movement. His house in Shumen has been converted into a museum, and its rooms have been restored and returned to their original form. The museum includes an exhibition hall specially designed to display documents, photos and articles that reveal the life of this Bulgarian The Great and his activity as a reform pioneer of the Fourth Revolutionary District during the April Uprising of 1876, the house also includes a picturesque outside garden in the form of a small maze.
