This church is considered the most important religious center on the island, especially in the city of Larnaca. This monastery is located on a hill, offering a wonderful view of the north side of the island and the opposite coasts. It was built in 1634 in place of an ancient temple dedicated to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt.
