This church is considered the most important religious center on the island, especially in the city of Larnaca. This monastery is located on a hill, offering a wonderful view of the north side of the island and the opposite coasts. This teacher is considered the sacred protector of the island, according to the traditions passed down through the generations. It was built in 1634 in place of an ancient temple dedicated to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. Otherwise, the surrounding area is full of cafes and restaurants, so you can stop in one of them after your visit to this picturesque old church.
