Information about Palakkad Fort
An old castle located in the heart of the city of Palakkad in the state of Kerala, and it is said that the castle has existed since ancient times, but it was built in its current form in the year 1766 AD by Sultan Haider Ali. There are no manuscripts on the history of the castle before that time. It is one of the most beautiful preserved castles in Kerala.
