Information about Liechtenstein Garden Palace
Liechtenstein (City Palace), is an apartment building in Vienna's No. 1 district, and is one of two Vienna palaces belonging to the Princely family of Liechtenstein. The palace was built from 1692 to 1705 by Italian architect Domenico Martinelli and Swiss architect Gabriel de Gabrieli. The house fortunately escaped destruction during World War II when bombs fell nearby. It is still used as a private residence by the royal family and is one of the city's most vibrant and distinguished attractions, in addition to being an example of the wonderful symbiosis between picturesque nature and majestic architecture. All its visitors can enjoy seeing beautiful artworks dating from the period between the early Renaissance to the present Baroque era.
