Information about Palais Garnier
Palais Garnier Paris Opera House is a landmark of luxury, sophistication and beauty in the French capital, where the palace was designed as part of the huge reconstruction campaign that was active in Paris during the Second Empire, which was founded by Emperor Napoleon III. The building of the Palais Garnier was designed by the architect Charles Garnier and the palace was opened in 1875 AD. It was built in the neo-baroque style and was considered an architectural jewel at the time. The palace’s outer facade includes a group of luxurious sculptures or statues representing the legends of the Greek gods signed by the artists Francois Joffre, Jean-Baptiste Claude Eugène Guillaume and others.
