Built on the site of a walled colonial cemetery in AD 1807, the Baku Urban Park was intended for the burial of cholera victims and figures of Spanish high society, its interior walls still bearing their family names. Today, it is a quiet park and a popular place for many locals and tourists, due to its green areas and shaded walking paths. This wonderful garden houses a small chapel with a distinctive altar; It also hosts a lot of concerts, weddings and photo sessions.
