Paso Beach is surrounded by a group of sand dunes that form a boundary between the sand and the green of the neighboring fields. To its south is the Montedor plateau and a large lighthouse that gives it an exceptional view. The beach was formerly a strategic location, and today it contains the ruins of an eighteenth century castle; Part of the coastal defense system, the beach is now one of the most popular attractions for nature lovers and fishermen.
