Built in the 17th century during the Ottoman rule of Esztergom, the 400-year-old Özılı Hasi Ibrahim Mosque served as a hermitage and residence before being turned into a museum displaying its fascinating history. The mosque contains a mihrab that has been preserved to this day. It is the only two-storey mosque in all of Hungary, and outside it there is a water wheel dating back to the period of the Ottoman siege that controlled the city's water.
