Often referred to as the "Estonian Dickens", Oscar Lutes House Museum offers all about the writer Oscar Luts, whose touching stories are still near and dear to all Estonians. His most famous novel, Kivadi (Spring), was published in 1912 and has been applied in plays, ballets, and films. Located in the house where Lotus lived in the last years of his life, this museum displays a comprehensive exhibition on his life and work and includes his attractive old sitting room, preserved for posterity.
