Osaka Castle was built in 1583, and was the home of the royal family of Hideyoshi, and it has been converted into a tourist attraction for the beauty of its design and the splendor of its view. There are 7 floors of exhibits. Osaka Castle is surrounded by an impressive moat and a long corridor above it. When one enters the castle, one notices that the massive single blocks of rock have been irregularly made to match the surroundings of each other. This palace with green roof with sweeping curves and white facade is a beautiful example of the Japanese arch of the time.
