Designed by a team of academics and designers from Wits University, the museum aims to provide visitors with a unique experience of the rich and complex heritage of Africa. Found in South Africa, the Museum combines cutting-edge technology with the creative vision of some of South Africa's foremost artists, and the exhibits at the Museum take visitors on an extraordinary journey of discovery, beginning with the origins of humanity in Africa, then moving through the evolution of art, symbolism, and technology in The Continent, and the Origins Center Museum is restoring the African continent to its rightful place in history, at the beginning of humanity's journey to humanity.
