The Old Slave Market Museum is a building located on Chalmers Street in Charleston, South Carolina, that once housed an exhibit of antebellum slave auctions. The building was built in 1859 and is believed to be the last existing slave auction facility in South Carolina. Today, this museum is considered an expressive example of the racism that people suffered from in those dark periods.
