The Old Museum is one of the museums included in the list of Museum Island. It is an art-historical museum that was built in the period between 1825-1830 AD by order of King Frederick William III of Prussia. It was built in the neoclassical architecture style. It was created in order to preserve a group of paintings and archaeological artifacts of the city, as it includes different groups that reflect the history of the city, such as a group of helmets that were worn by German soldiers during the war.
