Targha Mosque is located in the province of Chefchaouen, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and is one of its distinctive religious monuments. It is one of the oldest mosques built in the country, the second mosque in Africa after Kairouan in Tunisia. The mosque was distinguished by a simple architectural design of spacious indoor and outdoor courtyards, prayer rooms, a library and facilities for teaching the sciences of the Noble Qur’an!
