The castle of Novi Zamok, or as it is called the New Castle, is located in the city of Grodno. It is the royal palace of Augustus III of Poland, where the castle was erected in 1793 AD, becoming the new Grodno Castle at an altitude of 116 meters above sea level. The castle was designed by European architects who were specially recruited for this task, and it later became one of the city's most beautiful landmarks.
