An amazing museum that was opened in 1999 to be the first petroleum museum in the world. The museum tells the history of petroleum in Norway, its extraction methods and its uses. The museum was designed to resemble oil extraction platforms from the outside, as it fascinates everyone who sees it at sea. Among the exhibits in the museum, visitors will find exhibits containing small models of ancient and modern oil transport ferries, dozens of machines that were used to extract oil, gas-oil separation machines, and many more.
