The Noordeinde Palace, the King's place of business, is a state-owned palace and has been placed at the disposal of the Head of State by an Act of Parliament. The palace complex also includes the royal stables and the palace gardens contain the historic royal archives. The palace is of great historical importance, as it was at the center of various important events in the life of the royal family, here wedding ceremonies and big celebrations were held!
