Nijo Castle, is an ancient castle in Kyoto, dating back to the seventeenth century. It was used as the residence of the Japanese emperor because of its large area and the diversity of its facilities within the five floors, until the castle was recently donated to the city, and opened to the public, and gained one of the most important international classifications, by joining It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994.
