The Nezu Museum collects more than 7,400 objects, including seven pieces that are national treasures, as well as 94 works registered as important artworks, which include amazing paintings, statues, and other pieces of art, the majority of which are the result of the acquisition of these pieces by Kaichirō Sr. Some of which date back to the pre-modern period. He was a collector of drawings, carvings, textiles, armor and various archaeological samples.
