This museum was opened in honor of the life of the monk and writer Neofit Rilski in 1981 on the 100th anniversary of his death. Before that, it was managed by his relatives, and then this house was converted into a museum and a permanent exhibition in which the works of this monk are displayed in chronological sequence. It also displays the details of the lives of his family members who are among the community's intellectuals, in addition to that, it presents the details of the houses as they were in the time of the monk's life in the agricultural era.
