An art gallery and museum established by Balinese art teacher Nika, who collected paintings as a means of artistic documentation. The museum was built in 1976 and opened by the Ministry of Culture and Education in 1982. This art museum houses large collections of paintings, sculptures, and photographs displayed in galleries in six different buildings shared in a green Balinese garden in the middle. All the works displayed in it are inspired by the Balinese nature and the wonderful traditional local culture, and some of them are classified under the list of contemporary artworks.
