Located in the Palazzo Fontejo de Turchi on the Grand Canal, this museum is an institution that coordinates and conducts scientific research in the Territory, in order to ensure the preservation and study of scientific collections of various marine and natural life and from different ages through their presentation in collections for researchers and visitors. In addition to organizing educational activities and services for citizens, the new interesting and attractive design contains contemporary and modern facilities. It contains a lot of mummified animals and skeletons of extinct animals such as birds, dinosaurs, reptiles and others. It is really wonderful, as it introduces the visitor to the types of animals that have become extinct and that are still present.
