The Museum of the Nativity Scene presents to its visitors a model of the city of Bethlehem, in which Christ was born, according to the Bible. It includes a display of many Nativity scenes. The main components of the scene include a central place for the birth of Christ, a city and landscapes that include trees and small structures of farms, all carved from wood. This tradition is considered one of the old traditions in the Czech Republic and is more than 200 years old; Nativity scenes are built by local families all over the place and they are usually displayed at Christmas.
