The National Tainan Center for the Living Arts is an arts center in the central-western region of Tainan City, which handles inter-community cultural affairs for the provinces in southern Taiwan. The center was originally started in early 1954 as the Tainan County Social Education Hall by the Taiwan Provincial Government. Today, the center includes a performance hall, which can accommodate 838 seats, and there are 7 medium and small meeting rooms for seminars and cultural events, with a capacity of 24 to 206 people, and they are equipped with a wide screen TV, wired and wireless microphones, and many art exhibitions and official and popular celebrations are held here.
