Information about National Museum of Natural Science
The National Museum of Natural Sciences is one of the most visited and popular museums in Taiwan, and one of the most popular places in Taichung. Spread across 22 acres, the museum is a complex of six venues that includes the Space Scientist Theatre, Science Center, Life Sciences Hall, Human Cultures Hall (the original Chinese science hall), World Environment Hall and the Botanical Garden. The museum also has more than 30 permanent exhibit areas covering topics in astronomy, space science, paleontology, ecology, gemology, minerals, Taiwanese aborigines, and tropical plants. Annual and continuous special exhibitions are held here.
