Malaysia National Mosque, also known as Mosque Negara, is located in the northwest part of the old railway station a few hundred meters towards the end of Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin district in Kuala Lumpur, and is a symbol of Islam nationwide, and extends over an area of 13 acres, It can accommodate up to 15,000 people, and reminds its visitors of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, as its main prayer hall consists of 48 small domes, and its building is characterized by abstract shapes and geometric lattices embedded in its ceilings and iron work, and the Great Hall is undoubtedly the most complex part of the mosque. All its walls are adorned with verses from the Qur’an.
