The National Museum of Modern Art is a fine museum in Mumbai that opened on February 18, 2009. It is a huge museum with an area of 1,551 square metres, with an annex extending over an area of 1,260 square metres. This museum contains great art pieces by local and international artists. The pieces are varied, with sculptures, drawings, paintings, photographs, and much more. There are around 14,000 works of art by artists such as Thomas Daniel and Raja Ravi Verma.
