The National Awakening Museum is a historical museum in Jakarta dedicated to the history of Indonesia's national awakening. It is located in a historic building that opened in 1902 as a Javanese colonial medicine school, and later was also used as a preparatory school, an upper secondary school and a school for pharmacists' assistants, and was used by the Japanese during their occupation to contain Dutch prisoners of war.
